The pmarc.ai Chrome extension and website do not collect any data about you. There is no account system, no tracking, no analytics, no cookies set by us, and no advertising network.

What the extension does on your device

• Watches the URL of the YouTube tabs you have open, only to detect the video ID.
• Stores your two preferred playback speeds in your browser (synced via your Google account if you have Chrome sync on).
• Adjusts the YouTube player's playback rate.

What the extension fetches

For each Marc Andreessen video the extension detects, it requests a small JSON file from pmarcai.com/api/timeline/<videoId>.json. That file lists the timestamps where Marc is speaking. The request includes only the public YouTube video ID — no personal identifier, no cookies.

pmarcai.com is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Cloudflare may keep standard, anonymised request logs for security and DDoS protection. We do not access these logs for any other purpose.

What the extension does not do

• Send anything we control to any server other than pmarcai.com.
• Read any other tab, page, or website than YouTube.
• Read your YouTube history, comments, account, or anything else.
• Set tracking cookies of any kind.

The "Made by Alexandria" link

The extension popup and footer contain a link to alexandria.co, the men's jewellery brand by the same maker. Clicking it sends you to that site exactly the way any other link works. Alexandria.co has its own privacy policy.
